Ingredients:

1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup butter, at room temperature
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
2 ripe bananas, mashed
¼ cup sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a 9-inch by 13-inch baking pan.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

In a separate bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, and mix until combined. Add the mashed bananas, sour cream, and vanilla extract and mix until smooth.

Gradually add the flour mixture to the banana mixture and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.

Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and let cool completely before serving.
